Role Summary/Purpose	Lead all manufacturing activities for the industrial x-ray operations at the Wunstorf (Hannover) site. Essential Responsibilities	Guide all business objectives in attainment of Integrity, EHS excellence, quality, customer satisfaction/order fulfillment goals, cost out/VCP and inventory turns. . Be the Site Leader – Demonstrate cross functional, inclusive leadership of site senior management team Establish and maintain the plant vision for success Utilize, lead and support use of Lean Manufacturing techniques and activities Provide performance metrics and feedback processes for all operations areas Ensure plans/projects are in place to meet or exceed goals for each area. Promote an environment of continuous improvement and employee involvement to emphasize customer satisfaction. Build a flexible, manufacturing organization positioned to support global and regional product line manufacturing strategy. Develop key talent within the manufacturing organization through mentoring, coaching and facilitation of development opportunities Foster an environment of positive employee relations, work with local works council, promote a culture of recognition and respect at all levels of the organization. Responsible for controlling both direct and indirect costs, through CM% (Contribution Margin), Base Cost and capital investment controls. Promotes an effective interface with Technology to ensure the timely release of new products through the application of concurrent engineering and design for manufacturability techniques. Interface effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or business or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree desirable. Minimum 3 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be knowledgeable about MRP/ERP systems, production and inventory control, electronics mfg., assembly and test systems, capital, expenses/cost accounting processes, Lean Mfg Strong business acumen, problem-solving and organizational skills. Fluent in German, and English Language Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Ability to energize and motivate teams in a dynamic environment. Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with multiple reporting structures Proven track record in change management
