Essential Responsibilities	Responsible for executing processes within Corporate VAT/GST Operations as directed by manager. Reporting to the VAT Operations Manager for the Nordic region, this position will: •Deliver VAT controllership, reporting and related services to GE businesses •Complete a program of risk-based reviews of business VAT returns and associated processes to ensure accuracy of filings •Ensure that all VAT returns and associated statistical filings for client businesses are filed and paid on time •Assist in the analysis of VAT documents for accuracy using thorough and in-depth knowledge of VAT regulations •Provide support during inspections and queries from local tax authorities •Collaborate with finance, business operations and other sub-contracted support functions to resolve any problems and improve compliance standards •Assist in the training of finance, business and other sub-contracted support functions on the use of the GE on-line VAT/GST return tool
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of VAT with key focus on local VAT compliance and statistical declarations Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
