Job Summary

Based in our Manufacturing department, this role is responsible for support and maintenance of Test Equipment and Test networks to support production. Equipment includes a mix of Mac and Windows based computers, printers and barcode scanners along with more specialised equipment. The key deliverable is to keep the networks & equipment as near to 100% available as possible through use of Preventative Maintenance and rapid resolution of any breakdowns.

Key Qualifications

  • Ideally have worked in a production support role with a focus on equipment uptime.
  • Familiar with Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to diagnose networking issues.
  • Experience in a high volume Production environment.
  • Experience of process improvement project work.

Description

Responsible for support and maintenance of Test Equipment and Test networks to support production. Ensure the network and equipment are as near to 100% as possible at all times. Use of Preventative Maintenance. Rapid Resolution of any breakdowns.

Education

Degree/Diploma/City & Guilds or National Cert qualification in Electronics or similar discipline Familiarity with PLC's and PLC Programming an advantage

Additional Requirements

Ability to work across 7 day x 24 hour window May be requested to travel. May be requested to change shifts. Be available to cover overtime.
