Our client, a global investment house, is seeking to hire an experienced Lead Equity Research individual to join their expanding Private Clients division, providing in-depth analysis and research of suitable stocks for selection and investment.

Role:

• Leading the Equity Research team for the Private Client division

• Conducting in-depth research and analysis of Equities and selecting suitable stocks to recommend to Private Clients

• To act as the front office point of contact for Private Clients and to advise Private Clients on recommended stocks

• Create models, spread sheets and databases to analyse and interpret market trends and make predictions

• Communicating updates, relevant news, information and investment views directly with Private Clients and handling Client queries in a timely manner

• To lead investment idea generation and research

• Produce research publications, and to create and provide brochure coverage to Private Clients 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of equity research experience

• A university level degree in business/finance

• CFA qualification or a willingness to obtain this qualification

• Demonstrable knowledge of financial markets and investments

• Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills

• Strong client service orientation

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

• High level of proficiency in MS office packages including Word and Excel
