We are looking for a Manager IT Planning & Controlling, located in Hoboken

In this function you are responsible for the financial reporting of Umicore's IS division worldwide and for the yearly budgeting processes across the division, to ensure adequate governance of all IS activities and to monitor the effectiveness of the Information System organization and processes. You report to the IS Executive Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You operate the financial reporting of the division including the KPIs dashboard to monitor monthly IS performance.
• You analyze the results, make business risks of the IS division transparent and propose efficient measures to manage and reduce risks.
• You develop and coordinate for total IS division the yearly planning and periodic forecast process and you support strategic planning activity of the division.
• You council and advice IS Management Team in all financial matters and act as a guardian for the quality and integrity of IS methods and processes.
• You manage the PMO function to ensure that required actions are performed by the organization to align business and IS.
• You check and consolidate resource strategies for different IS areas.
• You establish and operate a supplier management framework ensuring preferred supplier lists, vendor evaluations and correct management.
• You lead a team of 5 members spread over different legal entities and locations.
   

PROFILE

• You have a master degree in Economics or Finance, with strong capabilities in financial, supplier and resource management.
• You are an experienced Controller preferably in a support unit.
• You have knowledge of IS processes and IS controlling and experience in successfully managing projects.
• You have expertise in business valuation models.
• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French. Knowledge of German is an asset.
• You are a born people manager with excellent management skills.
• You are customer-oriented, decisive and willing to go for the extra mile.
• You are a diplomatic leader, convincing and decisive.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You are willing to travel for your work.
