The Simplification Specialist is a change agent, driving improvement initiatives across HR Operations for DACH HR Services. The contract is fixed-term on 1 year.
- Work hand in hand with HR Ops Project Manager to define, plan and successfully deliver projects to simplify HR Ops in the DACH region
- Apply Project Management/ CAP tools & techniques and HR processes expertise to ensure stakeholders requirements and concerns are proactively addressed and solution delivered meets expectations
- Ensure the right processes are effectively followed and they are adhered to in a sustained manner
- Develop Control Metrics & Key Performance Indicators before and after process improvements to demonstrate improvements and ensure early identification of variations/ deviations.
- Coach the HR Services Center teams during the course of projects and organize training for new processes
- Work closely together with transition PM & specialist on transitions as needed
- 3 – 5 years of experience with transactional HR processes
- In-depth understanding of GE culture and businesses / business structure
- Solid experience in GE HR Services Center organization
- Proven source of process improvement proposals and demonstrable change management skills
- Prior experience in dealing with customers and HR Services Teams in project related environment
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask projects and work to deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, data driven
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English language
- Ability to communicate at different levels throughout the HR Services and GG&O organization
- Ability to effectively deal with resistance to change
- Customer service focus with controllership mindset
- Problem solving skills
- Proactive team player with strong ability to integrate team members in project proposals and facilitate discussions about improvement ideas
- Fluent in English and German
- Depth of project Management experience- have led high performance project previously and driven projects from conception through implementation
- Six Sigma Certification
- Experience in the use of lean methodology
