Job description
IBM is seeking an application services transition & transformation manager who will be responsible for overseeing the performance of all project activities during the transition & transformation (T&T) period. The T&T manager is responsible for successfully managing IBM's largest and most complex application services commitments. In this role you will be directly responsible to ensure that the services are transitioned, transformed and successfully implemented according to the terms of the contract. This requires a very senior project manager, an astute business person, exceptional business insight, executive/boardroom presence, outstanding judgment and excellent level of written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities include:
• Performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change and risk management.
• Manage relationship with the client counterparts and IBM project executives to ensure a mutually agreed and aligned T&T plan
• Perform engagement hand-over, planning and aggressive execution of knowledge transfer from client / incumbents.
• Staff the T&T team and manage infrastructure setup, as required.
• Full ownership of project plans and schedules for T&T
• Managing all project resources, including subcontractors.
• Establishing an effective communication plan with all stakeholders, both external and internal.
• Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client.
• Responsible for upward external and internal project status reporting
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 10 years experience in performing application services transition and transformation projects
  • At least 10 years experience in managing complex projects
  • At least 10 years experience in using Microsoft Project or equivalent
  • Certified in Project Management
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • Master's Degree
Additional information
For this role we also require one fluent Scandinavian language, either Danish, Norwegian or Swedish.
