Description

This newly created role for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) involves assisting in the effective and efficient delivery of the support function to ensure the on-going provision of a proactive, professional and business focused Application Services to the business in line with relevant standards.

Your Responsibilities


  • As a part of the Operations business area, take ownership of functional issues (especially regarding the back-office-system Xentis) reported by the business until resolution using a defined incident management process and a designated incident management system
  • Co-ordination of testing, ensuring Functional, Regression &UAT has been completed and sign-offs received prior to implementing any system changes
  • Maintain contacts with system vendors and with technical support as part of the vendor management process
  • Be an Application Expert providing functional consultancy and guidance to business on applications supported, especially the back-office-system Xentis
  • Work as a link between Operations and Project teams, work with project managers during project planning phase to agree deliverables, resources and timeframes and work with project teams to develop business requirements documents and review Functional Designs as required


Qualifications

Your qualifications


  • Successfully completed apprenticeship or studies of (business) economics or any other course of university studies; alternatively, similar commercial apprenticeship with knowledge of the banking business, ideally fund administration and asset servicing
  • Sound functional knowledge of Valuations, Accounts and other Fund Administration Functions
  • Prior experience with specifics of Fund Administration, Depot-banking and Asset Management in Germany
  • Prior experience documenting procedures, creating Business Requirement Documents, Planning and Coordinating User Acceptance Testing and implementing new systems/processes.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of Xentis and other FA platforms
  • Proficiency in using MS Excel, Project, Word, Visio, Outlook, Lotus Notes and other relevant office systems
  • Proactive and focused attitude to work and an ability to constantly meet project deadlines/milestones
  • Excellent individual, teamwork, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills, dependability, flexibility and reliability
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills
  • Problem Solving Logical and structured approach to problem solving
  • Pronounced customer focus
  • Good command of both German and English
