Description

To further facilitate our growth in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central Eastern Europe, BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for the IMG - Cash Solutions group to support our relationship and business development efforts with our clients across the region. The position is to be located in our Frankfurt Office, working within our Global Collateral Services organization which is covering the franchise clients of the bank.

The objective of the IMG Cash Solutions group is to develop a c ash and liquidity relationship with our most important clients that will strive to create a win-win profitability position on the cash component of their relationship and to improve the client experience. The team supports all businesses in the bank which includes marketing, analytics, product support, treasury liaison, deposit management and seamless relationship management services. The team collaborates across all businesses and investment products to provide solutions for clients' cash assets. Working in partnership with other sales and relationship managers, the team create strategies for clients' specific investment objectives of principal preservation, liquidity and yield.

The team specialise in:


  • Identifying investment alternatives consistent with clients stated guidelines
  • Determining what options are available in a varying interest rate environment
  • Matching investment alternatives to deal-specific requirements
  • Evaluating current market conditions
  • Creating innovative solutions that match clients' growing and new objectives.


As a Senior Relationship Manager in the team your primary functions will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Relationship Management;


  • Design and execute account plans for the key global and regional clients
  • Build and manage relationships with all key clients in the region
  • Build and manage relationships with all BNY Mellon stakeholders for the key clients



    Investment Product Specialist;


  • Be a principle point of contact and ensure that IMG Cash Solutions provides an effective service to all business to client facing teams and their clients in respect of cash, short term investments and cash markets.
  • Attend and speak at appropriate client events and industry conferences / events to support the strategic plan and clients and drive revenue
  • Develop and deliver training related to cash and investment products for all members of staff (and clients where applicable).


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of banking or other financial industry experience, preferably as a Business Development or Relationship Manager in an investment, treasury or corporate cash management role.
  • Good working knowledge of Basle III, UCITs rules and other regulatory initiatives in the German financial industry.
  • University or Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or related discipline or Commercial Apprencticeship (e.g. Bankkaufmann) with respective work / internship experience
  • Good familiarity with the German financial industry
  • Good familiarity with the Debt Capital Markets products
  • Good working knowledge of Bloomberg
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation and networking skills
  • Team player, self-motivated, assertive and fluent written and verbal knowledge and use of German and English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
