Working as a part of Europe Pricing Team, you will be responsible of developing, maintaining and implementing pricing to maximize sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met. Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
  • Leads, develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
  • Maintains and communicates regular pricing position
  • Leads the proposal for price position changes across products and markets with other functional leaders to insure competitive and financially viable price position.
  • Supports the quarterly pricing process, which incorporates revenue and margin implications of forward pricing plans for assigned product categories as appropriate.
  • Works cross-functionally to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Make sure that accurate list price is kept for assigned product portfolio in all relevant systems both online and offline
  • Quarterly price proposal reviews – enable profit and unit market share gains through pricing actions, basing decision on competitive position, business performance, internal cost drivers
  • Partner closely with sales, finance, product groups and other functions to ensure pricing execution meets business requirements and strategy.
  • Monthly reporting on actuals, to include impact of any major price/cost moves
  • Actively participate and provide guidance in monthly/quarterly promotional pricing
  • Cooperate cross-functionally to enable optimal cross-segment, direct and indirect business promo price position.
  • Evaluate, estimate and implement the best promo price strategy related to chosen marketing campaign and tool.
  • Be the trusted interface between Regional Sales/Marketing/Product Managers/Finance and support groups to implement required solutions/processes
  • Communicate and explain key pricing strategies for main stakeholders
  • Sustain highest level of customer focus (internal/external customers)
  • Financial acumen, analytic horsepower, and common sense, combined with organizational agility and good communication skills
  • Ability to build complex Excel models, yet explain the results in plain English and simplify the model for others
  • Willing to work independently in a fast-changing environment with ambiguous roles and responsibilities, and the drive to establish and refine processes and analyses
  • 3-5 years of related experience in pricing, financial/business analysis in a product line management preferred
  • University/College degree in Finance / Marketing / Business Administration or other fields
  • Strong Excel and Power Point knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in analytical position
  • Excellent English communications skills - both written and verbal
