Development specialist proficient in digital solutions including commercial website development, eCommerce and mobile applications.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of digital solutions; coordinates with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
• Demonstrates command of basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing.
• Specialist in market leading web site development and eCommerce tools.
• Streamline and improve an existing eCommerce application to enhance performance and workflows.
• Maintains peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, COE, etc) to support effective implementations.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years commercial web development experience or equivalent.
• Experience with using eCommerce alongside content management tools.
• Solid experience with web, web development, webservers and technologies (WebSphere, HTML, Javascript, JSP).
• Knowledge of Java and XML.
• Experience in FAST and/or Microsoft Sharepoint Enterprise Search.
• Full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation.
• Experience with process quality methodology.
• Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver.
• Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff.
•Experience in FMCG and/or Healthcare industry.
•Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
