| The DB2 z/OS Specialist as a Second Level support for any DB2 z/OS related problems Main Operational Responsibilities: - provide Base Consultancy - determine performance issues (Level 2 Support) - attempt resolution of performance issues and escalate performance issues to Level 3 Support if resolution attempt fails (including documented resolution steps in case of an escalation to Level 3 Support) - provide Rollout & Month/quarter-end support - execute the Rollout of patches, releases and configuration changes, execute Data provisioning activities on request, e.g. copy from production to development or training environments (Unload/Load Procedures) - perform application decommissioning activities - support the deployment and Rollout of new applications or new versions of existing applications Must to have skills: - Overall Knowhow of DB2 Database Architecture - DB2 Utilities (Reorg, Runstats, Copy, Load,Unload, Modify, Check, Recover, Rebuild) - SQL - DB2 commands (display, stop,start, bind, rebind, cancel…) - DB2 security (RACF, grants, revoke, roles, privileges) - JCL (creating & interpreting) - TSO / ISPF - SDSF / SPOOL - zOS Extras: - Trainings and Certifications - Private Medical Centre package & Insurance package - Multisport Card - Good to be an IBMer- discounts - Languages classes (free of charge) - Real possibilities of self- development and the promotion - Annual bonuses for the most engaged and successful employees | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
