| Key duties: - Perform 2nd level support to all customers, infrastructure and develop solutions to stabilise customer environments. - Install, operate and maintain complex centralised and distributed computer systems in muliti - vendor environment - Oracle and DB2 database installation, administration and support - Database and Index reorganisation - User and Rights administration - Batch management, disk space administration, performance tuning - Backup/Restore, Systems tuning, Database backup/restore - Tivoli TSM installation and upgrade All requirements concern DB2 LUW database. Required knowledge: - Installing DB2 software - databases and clients - Creating and configuring instances and databases - Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels - Managing storage structures - Managing users and security - Managing schema objects (tables, indexes, and views) - Making database backups and performing recovery when necessary - Basic knowledge about OS (Linux, AIX, Windows) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
