IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in managing and operation of customer applications in heterogeneous environment. Successful candidate will have opportunity to work with software, application solutions, communications and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, and maintenance of regulatory, legal, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance, and management of bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network, and outsourced services. We are looking for Candidates, who are familiar with UNIX environment, network protocols with additional experience with Java applications. Technical requirements: - Working experience with UNIX server administration - Networking knowledge – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP - Technical knowledge of scripting (shell, perl) - User management - Backup and recovery solutions Advantages (knowledge) for Candidate: - SQL and relational database systems (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL) - Programming skills, preferred language: Java - Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server platform management - Tomcat - Cognos - PHP - IBM WebSphere - JBoss - HTTP servers - CORBA protocol Job Experience - Minimum two years working experience in enterprise IT environments

Required Bachelor's Degree English: Intermediate German: Intermediate

Preferred Master's Degree English : Fluent German : Fluent
