Essential Responsibilities	 Designs and implements control applications for Aero derivative Gas turbine, HDGT and ITCC control projects using applied and best engineering practices.  Follows M&C project execution processes, attends project meetings and follows-up project milestones regularly to fulfil contractual commitments, delivery dates.  Develops functional specifications for custom applications/configurations, assists in writing procedures for test and operation of supplied systems.  Leads HW design and HMI engineering and coordinates the team work during the whole project execution.  Provides technical support to supply chain on ordering of BOMs and assembly, leads preFATs and FATs.  Provides technical support to customers over the phone and at customer locations when required.  Provides technical support and feedback to Marketing and Sales teams on controls software and solutions, hardware and system related issues.  Assists with the development and improvement of processes and tools to help increase quality and reduce cycle time on controls projects.  Trains, mentors and provides coaching to team members  Demonstrates excellent technical expertise and analytical ability  Exhibits accuracy and thoroughness in work reviews  Drives project related customer technical issue resolution.  Full systems approach to projects, willingness to get knowledge from other technology areas and functions. Uses this knowledge to increase quality with better understanding of project requirements.  Identifies and mitigates risks in the projects.  Drives improvement opportunities. Reacts to and supports externally driven continuous improvement initiatives.  Supports functional and cross-functional leadership teams to achieve business goals
Qualifications/Requirements	 Computer skills in Windows based operating systems and applications including GE and Woodward process control system applications using standard programming languages like function block diagram, sequential function chart, ladder diagram, VisualBasic etc.  Troubleshooting skills including hardware, software, and networking.  Ability and willingness to travel when required.  Good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.  Motivated team player and self-starter, results oriented.
Desired Characteristics	 Strong technological background in power industries, applications.  BS in technical discipline or equivalent background.  5 years experience in technical field.
