| This
role will lead IT projects across the various Services sites to improve
on-time delivery, process improvement, profitability and cash
management metrics. This role will also have a cross-business
responsibility across all Norwegian O&G P&Ls for the financial
(SAP FICO) and projects (SAP PS) modules of the ERP.
This role will be part of the O&G Services management team and will also help shape, prioritize, and deliver the annual IT project agenda. | |

Build expertise in the wing-to-wing Services business model in Norway
and partner with the business leadership to make IT a key enabler for
growth.
• Build deep expertise in the SAP instance how they align to services processes and synthesize this knowledge into a growth-orientated enhancement road map. • Define/scope/execute IT projects for the Service P&L or as part of boarder GE O&G Subsea initiatives. • Partner with the ERP functional manager at the O&G MSC site to create a comprehensive and harmonized change agenda to optimize the usage of SAP • Gather requirements from internal clients and provide business and technical expertise to the process team in support of process design/blueprinting, focused on specific process areas as assigned • Provide business and configuration expertise to the assigned design team during design / blueprinting and solution modelling phase for functionality • Responsible for ensuring the FICO/PS module configuration accurately aligns to O&G process, is thoroughly documented, and understood by the business superusers. • Create Functional and Configuration specification documents including development, documentation, and executive of process/configuration test protocols • Manage a robust change management operating rhythm for the Service site that aligns to the GE Subsea standard • Build and engage a SAP super user committee at the Services site • Maintain a regular communication and operating rhythm with Services business leadership, Subsea P&P CIO, the Norway IT team, and key project stakeholders • Budgetary responsibility for Services IT spend and to ensure strong cost control is demonstrated. • Partner global development centre partners to develop SAP solutions, ensure robust SIT/UAT testing, and achieve consistent ‘first time right’ releases Partner with GE shared service organizations to ensure world class performance, availability, and usage of SAP • Participate in the regular management review with the Services P&L leadership team to identify IT needs across the business • Demonstrate strong project management skills in order to deliver IT projects, as defined by the IT leadership & functional leadership • Lead and manage on or offsite IT resources/contractors to effectively deliver IT project on-time and on-budget • Acting IT site leader for the Dusavik site. Responsible to ensuring adequate service delivery of desk-side IT support resources, network performance, or other IT activities. • Support annual SOX and/or financial audits | |
| • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
• 5-10 years of experience working in an Oil & Gas Service organization or similar business model • Minimum of 5 years of experience deploying, enhancing and supporting SAP FICO and PS modules • Demonstrated experience driving sustainable change • Strong executive communication, change management, and influencing skills • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts • Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations • Strong self-starter with the ability problem solve in a complex environment • Financial/accounting experience a plus | |
