Global Program Manager Responsibilities • Drive the global T&T Re-engineering program or two or more related projects for a limited duration or on a continuing basis. • Provide functional program development, planning, guidance and support to ensure that business objectives are met. • Influence and advise global T&T Re-engineering management and other professionals on strategic and tactical decisions. • Analyzes complex or new situations and implement solutions or develop new approaches, procedures or processes according to valid business strategy. Global Program Manager Requirements The primary skills requirements are: • Leadership: a proven ability to identify critical  issues, bring forward and resolve effectively to support the project team. The successful Global Program Manager must be able to represent their initiative at the highest levels to present status, articulate benefits to key stakeholders and develop integration points across the business. • Communications: a proven ability to communicate effectively to our VP and GM level stakeholders, as well as an ability to work comfortably and flexibly as part of a global team. • Services lifecycle: a deep understanding of the IBM services contract life-cycle from engagement to T&T delivery deal phases. • Project Management Certifications:  PMI, IBM and ITIL Foundation. • Program Management:  a proven ability to lead cross functional and multiple region project teams to design, deliver and deploy our key Global work streams. The Global team has access to our global architects and SMEs, as well as regional contacts. Integration of multiple deliverable s  into an effective program requires an ability to work the project matrix and resolve any conflicting requirements The following examples provides the types of programs a successful candidate would own and manage Transition as a Services (TaaS) This program consists of a set of actions to better enable TaaS adoption globally.  It changes the way IBM packages and sells transition and transformation services in order to become more competitive in the I/T outsourcing marketplace. Skills Enhancement Program Designed to implement a "Complex Program Manager" training and skills program within T&T, similar to the PE Pipeline Training. Project Execution This program is intended to pilot the capability of T&T to reduce costs by utilizing the skills within the GDFs (including Brno) to execute tower T&T plans, using a sending-receiving country pool model. Offerings Development The focus will be around developing a Repeatable Model (RM) plan as well as related documentation for the Strategic Outsourcing offerings for T&T Repeatable Model Program We have developed the Repeatable Model (RM) tool - which allows us to quickly tailor and scale T&T plans based on knowledge gained from all of the transitions and transformations we’ve done.  The tool allows us to integrate our plans from end to end and contains all the necessary inter plan dependencies, checkpoints, milestones, and a fully loaded resource staffing plan. The RM program is designed to keep the T&T plans updated and incorporate new RM function, including: - Feeding RM costs directly to SDM - Supply and Demand Resource management with the RM staffing plans - Earned Value deployment to measure plan accuracy

Required High School Diploma/GED At least 2 years experience in Project management English: Intermediate

Preferred Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years experience in Project management English : Fluent
