| The MSS Architecture team provides security solution design
support to the worldwide MSS Business Development Managers (BDM) and
field sellers for all geographies. A Senior MSS Architect is the
technical solution owner for all large complex services engagement
including Strategic Outsourcing customers. Senior MSS Architects would
engage for large multinational engagements or large Strategic
Outsourcing engagements. The Senior MSS Architect is a mentor to other
architects in MSS and other parts of IBM. The MSS Architecture team owns
the technical architectures for the standard services portfolio. MSS
Architecture also owns the processes associated with custom service
delivery Requests for Service (RFS) Exceptions. The MSS Architecture
team coordinates the MSS Quality Assurance procedure to ensure business
controls are followed. The Managed Security Services (MSS) Architect is responsible for: 1. MSS Solution Design: • Match requirements to service features • Design technical architectures • Security design best practices • Implementation 2. Partner Enablement: • Launch • Education • Portfolio development and/or Refresh • Operational Integration • Enablement of MSS Partners and Sales Channels 3. Service/Platform Exception Handling: • Identification • Tracking • Design • Development • Implementation • Documentation of one-off service exceptions for the MSS offering portfolio 4. Quality Assurance: • MSS Solution Package review 5. Pre-sales Support/Enablement: • Education • Customer presentations and Briefings • Solution Design actvities for MSS Business Development Managers, IBM and Partners • Crafting Technical Solution Documents (TSD) for all deals required based on opportunity size and follow on activities during solution refinement as required providing an optimal and deployable solution as defined by the MSS QA process | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Additional information
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Candidate must have experience in Managed Security Services delivery, IT Infrastructure, Information Security theory and fundamental concepts, and Information Security technologies. A track record of independent thinking to influence and implement an effective compliance program that is required. Experience with business systems and processes analysis, and also an understanding of regulatory requirements across multiple industries and disciplines. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
