Exciting opportunity for a Regulatory/Compliance Consultant to join a leading professional services firm located in Dublin City Centre
Our client, a leading professional services firm, requires a Regulatory/Compliance Consultant to join their Dublin City Centre team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a relevant consultancy environment or a minimum of 3 years experience specialising in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • To undertake compliance management duties, including the implementation of compliance frameworks, audits and support services.
  • To carry out AML reviews.
  • To undertake risk management practices including the review and development of internal risk management policies and procedures.
  • To respond to regulatory change including conducting gap analysis of new requirements against current practices.
  • To review current and emerging trends in regulations and analyse the implications for financial services clients.
  • To develop product and service offerings in the regulatory compliance area for financial services clients.
  • To establish strong relationships with clients, industry bodies and the financial regulator.
  • To demonstrate leadership qualities and work towards shared goals.
  • To demonstrate an understanding and interest in the clients business, issues and environment.
  • To demonstrate leadership skills and promptly address any issues or risks in the workplace.


Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification (third level or professional).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar consultancy environment or a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial services company specialising in regulatory compliance.
  • An in depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Ability to understand and interpret new and existing regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to travel in accordance with the needs of the business.
  • The ability to think on one’s feet and work under pressure.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
