Our client, a leading professional
services firm, requires a Regulatory/Compliance Consultant to join their
Dublin City Centre team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2
years experience working in a relevant consultancy environment or a minimum of 3 years experience specialising in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- To undertake compliance management duties, including the implementation of compliance frameworks, audits and support services.
- To carry out AML reviews.
- To undertake risk management practices including the review and development of internal risk management policies and procedures.
- To respond to regulatory change including conducting gap analysis of new requirements against current practices.
- To review current and emerging trends in regulations and analyse the implications for financial services clients.
- To develop product and service offerings in the regulatory compliance area for financial services clients.
- To establish strong relationships with clients, industry bodies and the financial regulator.
- To demonstrate leadership qualities and work towards shared goals.
- To demonstrate an understanding and interest in the clients business, issues and environment.
- To demonstrate leadership skills and promptly address any issues or risks in the workplace.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification (third level or professional).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar consultancy environment or a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial services company specialising in regulatory compliance.
- An in depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Ability to understand and interpret new and existing regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel in accordance with the needs of the business.
- The ability to think on one’s feet and work under pressure.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
