Description

Senior Business Change Manager

The Senior Business Change Manager supports the Head of Business Change in the delivery and implementation of the Business Change group strategy across the team.

They are responsible for leading and managing a pool of Business Change Managers, Analysts and/or Coordinators to successfully implement client and client related projects. The Senior Business Change Manager is responsible for promoting the Business change team across the wider business.

Essential Functions

Support the Head of Business Change in leading and managing the Business Change Team

Work with Senior Management of Operations, IT and the client to provide solutions & prioritise change

Manage & prioritise the team workload & resource

4

Provide the business with relevant data for projects and associated costs.

Manage succession planning for the team and development of team members

Other Regular and Ad-hoc Tasks

  • Manage and provide clear direction and leadership to the BCG team.
  • Support & encourage staff through development planning, performance planning, objective setting and performance review
  • Ensure adequate succession plans are in place for the Business Change team
  • Support Senior Business Change management in promoting group strategy
  • Promote and ensure the use of BCG standard project methodology
  • Manage resource plans and roadmaps
  • Identify commercial potential, for instance where a solution may be applicable to more than just the initiating client.


Act as an escalation point to the team, IT, operational management and the client in the assessment and impact of proposed deviations identified

through the project delivery process
  • Monitor project costs and revenue ensuring projects are charged and paid for
  • Monitor impact and risk analysis on proposed change requests
  • Produce monthly project data, dashboards, roadmaps & finance reporting for the Business Change team


Business Expertise
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of own Business Area with good awareness of other areas (Transfer Agency, Accounting, Custody and Trustees
  • An in-depth understanding of the Business Change Groups interaction and integration in the organisation
  • A good understanding of the industry and commercial environment as well as some knowledge of competitors products
  • Be a team player with demonstrable skills in developing effective relationships with internal teams and clients

  • Develops effective relationships with internal teams and clients


Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Ideally Prince II Practitioner or relevant job experience / alternative qualification
  • Competent with all aspects of Microsoft Office and MS Project
