IBM Delivery Centre in Wroclaw is a part of IBM Global Services Delivery Centre Polska. The Centre is providing high-value information technology services covering the full range of hardware and software solutions used by clients headquartered in Europe. Activities in this role include: • analyzing, designing, monitoring and troubleshooting issues of SAP Basis Systems • performing installations and upgrades of SAP products • performing 3rd level support to customer’s infrastructure • performing database upgrades and patch installation • performing Homogenous / Heterogeneous SAP system copies • responsibility for advanced incident / service requests investigation, diagnosis and resolutions where possible • changing the SAP environment according to customer needs • providing technical support and leadership in a complex mission critical SAP environment Requirements: • higher education in the field of IT or similar • 3-5 years of professional experience with SAP Basis in the field of supporting a client with SAP Basis activities based on SAP NetWeaver 6.x, 7.x or higher • good English, German would be an advantage • knowledge of SAP Basis activities based on SAP NetWeaver 7.x or higher • knowledge of modules surrounding SAP NetWeaver • knowledge of SAP Solution Manager • knowledge in SAP Catalog Server with SAP Master Data Management Engine • knowledge in AIX operating system • knowledge of database product IBM DB2 for SAP • knowledge of SAP Content Server, running on Linux operating system and MaxDB database • knowledge of UC4 batch job scheduling installation and maintenance of its base • certification on SAP NetWeaver 7.x or higher with a corresponding database • good understanding of Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Root Cause Analysis Additionally you have: • basic IT know-how about networking, network protocols, applications • ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment • ability to learn fast in changing environment • openness to new topics like in-memory processing, automation, cloud computing, snapshot technologies, etc • good communication skills, ability to present in front of customers with IT- and business-minded people in the audience • ability to act as "last-level-support" for SAP Basis Extras: • real possibilities of self-development and promotion • trainings and certifications • private Medical Centre package & Insurance package • Multisport Card

Required Bachelor's Degree English: Fluent

Preferred Master's Degree German : Intermediate
