Description
You will be a member of the Mobile Communications Group Accounting team which is part of the EMEA Corporate Finance organization. Beyond the EMEA Corp Finance team, you will closely collaborate with our Malaysia shared service center and the Operations Finance team. In this position, your core tasks will encompass but are not limited to:
1) Preparing the local financial records and statutory accounts for parent company, Intel Mobile Communications GmbH
2) Managing the annual statutory audit for the parent company
3) Ensuring fiduciary compliance including VAT, European Sales listing and withholding tax
4) Assisting the tax department on local tax and VAT audits
5) Ensuring accounting compliance with specific attention to pensions, government grants & tax credits, transfer pricing, revenue, fixed assets, patents, local taxes
6) Optimising internal controls und improving internal processes
7) Driving individual projects / topics across EMEA Accounting or MCG EMEA as required
8) Providing accounting guidance to business partners including Operations Finance
9) Supporting to other members of the Accounting team
10) Liaising with a wide range of business partners including tax, legal, treasury, corporate services, human resources, RnD management
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications & attributes are important:
1) Higher education qualification / accounting qualification
2) Knowledge and practical experience of German GAAP and tax legislation
3) Fluent German and English
4) Seven years or more of relevant job experience
5) Work experience in an international company and / or an accounting firm would be a benefit
6) Strong written and verbal communication skills
7) Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
8) A team player with an ability to collaborate well with others from different departments, backgrounds and regions
9) Good working knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel
