The Role:
Bloomberg News seeks an experienced reporter to cover finance in Frankfurt. The individual will be responsible for breaking news, building contacts and writing authoritatively about German banking. Knowledge of the financial markets, asset management, the economy and banking regulation is ideal.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is essential.
- Previous business reporting experience at a major newspaper or wire service is preferred.
- Fluency in German and English with the ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure in both languages is essential.
- Knowledge of banking, insurance, the economy and financial markets is preferred.
