Successful independent mid cap PE fund, focused on DACH region, is looking to add a new Associate to its investment team in Munich.

About our client
A leading independent mid cap fund with a great record in Mittelstand investments.
Responsibilities

• You’ll manage a number of key due diligence workstreams, including directing external advisers, and support senior colleagues through the deal execution
• You’ll have primary responsibility for building and managing the investment model from start to finish
• You will also have active involvement in portfolio management

Skills we’re looking for

• Top academic background
• Highest professional standards and excellent initial training with a major investment bank, consultancy or PE firm
• Hunger to learn the PE business and to make successful investments happen
• Must have Mittelstand-friendly interpersonal skills, an ability to build long term relationships based on trust, shared values and results
• The role is for native German speakers, with fluent English plus an international perspective, possibly from work, study or other experience
