A highly successful independent mid-market buyout firm in Frankfurt is looking to add an Analyst to their team, who will be involved in and support other team members in all phases of the investment cycle

About our client
A long standing mid cap buyout firm, focused on Mittelstand investments, with a great track record across the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• You will support other team members in all phases of the investment cycle, including the following
• Sourcing of new investment opportunities
• Investment analysis across various investment situations and industries
• Due diligence work and other deal execution tasks
• Detailed financial analysis, financial modelling and preparation of financing-related and internal approval documents
• Monitoring of portfolio companies

Skills we’re looking for

• You hold an excellent academic track record and a degree in economics, engineering, business or similar
• You are a highly ranked analyst, with work experience in M&A, leverage finance or transaction services with a leading investment bank, M&A house or a Big 4 firm
• You have strong analytical skills, financial skills and commercial judgement
• You are a highly motivated self-starter but also a strong team player with confident and enthusiastic appearance
• Your communication skills are excellent. You are fluent in spoken and written German and English
