Role Summary/Purpose	The Senior Electrical Engineer will participate in / lead design of Subsea Electrical Power transmission and distribution systems. She/he will be involved in early phase customer discussions, studies, etc, including participation in delivery projects as the electrical system expert.
Essential Responsibilities	• Act as Power System Lead in delivery projects • Perform pre-studies, FEED studies, pre-engineering and project engineering. • Establish Functional Design Specifications ( FDS ) for Power Products. • Participate in initial Power System discussions with customers and support Sales and Marketing department • Prepare documents for Invitation to tender • Participate in contract negotiations (Technical section) • Establish specification and interface requirements • Perform electrical system analysis with calculation tools like EDSA, Simsen, Matlab, Simulink and establish single line diagrams. • Design and optimize power systems for subsea applications. • Define technology gaps and establish qualification programs.
Qualifications/Requirements	• Electrical Engineering degree MSC or equivalent minimum. • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience • 3 years+ in System design, demonstrating good all round engineering experience. • Leadership experience preferred • Experienced in technical contract negotiations • English fluent verbal and written. • Experienced in standard office tools like word, excel, PowerPoint etc. • Experienced in electrical system design software
Desired Characteristics	• Knowledge of design, production, testing of Subsea Electrical Systems and Products
