& Process Technologies seeks a strong candidate to work with
Project Management teams to ensure project equipment delivery schedules
are met. Working with global supply chain, manufacturing logistics,
sourcing, PSI and the Logistics COE, you will be required to develop and
execute a project logistics plan that meets contract and budgetary
requirements.
This function will report strong dotted line, to the ES Project Logistics Ldr EMEA/INDIA.
Prepare Logistics Budget Estimates for Inquiry to Order for Projects
Act as Single Point of Contact for the Project Manager for all logistics activities.
Act as a direct Point of Contact for customers or their
forwarders, with the purpose of coordinating all the logistics
activities.
Develop a delivery plan for project shipments and execute it in rigorous and timely manner.
Support the Project Manager for revenue recognition.
Create and maintain a weekly report with all the major logistics information
Prepare all the logistics documentation (Packing List, Shipping Invoice, Transport documents, customs documents, etc...)
Coordinate the Import/Export activity (with the related documentation)
Establish a Logistic plan with the choice of the most
effective solution to transport the goods (number and type of
containers, Flat Rack, Open top Containers, Wooden Crates….).
Assist the Finance Team in the definition of the
documentation needed for complex L/C projects and/or projects to
emerging market countries
Work with the GE Logistics COE for transportation, booking and consolidation needs.
Participate in the Global Projects Logistics team in developing and implementing processes for
projects documentation; projects logistics planning;projects logistics budgeting and cost allocation
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Logistics Management is a MUST.
Experience with Logistic activity of an international company with multiple offices in different countries.
Minimum of 3 years International Trade experience
Minimum 2 years experience with overseas shipping, planning and operations
Fluent English and Hungarian is required
Self-starter with a high level of personal motivation / energy
Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
Solid understanding of INCO terms
Experience with logistics in infrastructure or heavy industry
Project Management Experience
Enjoy working in or with a multi-functional matrix organization
In depth knowledge of Letters of Credit, Trade and transport documentation
Demonstrate methodologies for planning and moving over OOG/Heavy weight by land, air, sea, multimodal
Green Belt certified preferred (GE Employees only)
