Strategic Pricing is a key function, supporting the sales/commercial organization, by providing data, analyzing markets / trends / product selling in various regions, monitor competitors’ activity.
The key roles of the Pricing Function are:
  • Support pricing team with the price uploads
  • Run Special Price analysis for regional pricing managers
  • Responsible for Process / Database automation for the competitive analysis for regional pricing managers
  • Responsible for Pricing database maintenance
  • Running Price trends analysis support the price plan, meet the operations profit target
  • Implement and manage pricing processes : rebates, disputes, price record maintenance, promo pricing process support with regional pricing managers
  • Cooperate cross-functionally to enable optimal cross-segment, direct and indirect business promo price position, actively participate and provide guidance in monthly/quarterly promotional pricing
  • Review business cases, projects in pricing from the angle of pricing strategy, sales performance (volume and profitability), perform ad-hoc analyses and recommend actions
  • College or University degree in Finance or ongoing studies
  • Finance or pricing experience is an advantage
  • Fluent English knowledge and good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of key statistical tools
  • Excellent PC skills, strong excel and power point user, MS office applications professional user is an advantage
  • Proactiveness and responsiveness to internal customer needs
  • Team player with strong work ethics
  • Results oriented with strong sense of accountability
  • Must be able to work full time (40 hours/week)
  • Contract for definite period of 6 months – could be prolonged if performance is strong
