| The Senior Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to owning the requirements, design, implementation and maintenance of Healthcare applications and platform. | |
| - Work with an agile team of 5-9 members through the agile development cycle
- Work in a team made up of Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment - Provide expertise in software development technologies - Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms designs and applying in-depth knowledge of product related technologies, technology platforms, architectures, engineering design principles and advancements - Manage programming and design evolution across multi-generation product releases. - Leverage technical experience to work on business initiatives aimed at innovation and quality excellence - Use Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life-cycle - Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, and leveraging product and technology reuse - Support process improvements to drive higher quality and productivity - Deliver world-class usability and user interfaces in our products or deliver world-class server side components and services GEHC_HDF | |
| - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
- 5+ years of experience in Java software development - Experience in SOA, object oriented design methodology and various programming languages, including Java, HTML5, JavaScript - Good knowledge on many from the following technology stack - J2EE, JSP, Struts, Spring Framework, MVC, SQL (RDBMS Knowledge e.g Oracle), App server Knowledge (Weblogic/JBoss etc.), OSGi, SOAP/REST webservices, HTML5, Javascript - Excellent knowledge with development tools and integrated build systems: Eclipse IDE, Jenkins/Hudson, Maven - Write high quality code using test-driven development (TDD) practices - Strong knowledge of OOD, software design patterns and principles - Able to clearly articulate and document software designs and strategies - Software development cycle and automated testing experience - Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as CVS/SVN/ClearCase/Git - Provide expertise in software development technologies - Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, and leveraging product and technology reuse - Support process improvements to drive higher quality and productivity - Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies - Fluent English language skills | |
