Are you someone who knows how to Lead with Service? We’re looking for a European Sales Manager with a proven track record in the travel industry and innovative strategies to help drive G Adventures’ growth in Germany. We want you to help us Build Happiness & Community by effectively managing preferred relationships with Agents and Agency Management Representatives in an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:

    Build, develop and manage relationships with key European industry partners with a view to maximizing sales revenue
    Arrange and carry out product training with industry partners across Germany
    Manage all day-to-day contact with our agency partners displaying exceptional customer service
    Liaise with internal departments and assist with all areas of sales and marketing in respect to industry partners

Requirements:

    Proven track record of sales success, preferably within the travel industry
    2+ years account management experience
    Knowledge of the European travel industry, especially the adventure travel sector would be highly regarded
    Fully bilingual with the ability to read, write and speak both English and German
    Ability to understand and demonstrate professional sales presentation techniques
    Advanced skills in interpersonal relationship management including superior communications skills
    A valid passport and driving license
    Understanding of, and identification with, G Adventures’ Core Values
    Well-traveled and/or travel industry experience an asset
    Must be willing to travel and represent G Adventures at travel trade events
