Job Description 

Transitions Manager - WRO00060
PL- -Wrocław
This role is base in our new Global Shared Services Center in Wroclaw. Main objective is to ensure that service delivery is provided as per agreed service level agreement (SLA).
 
 
Essential Functions of the Job:
 
  • Take responsibility for the program management of selected transitions (or segments thereof), from the point the work is identified to the point it is handed over to the Operating Team within the GSS center,
  • Support the development and execution of change management plans and efforts for countries from where work is being transitioned into the GSS center,
  • Continue to work with customer representatives as processes stabilize and become business as usual, post the transition project,
  • Track and report on milestones for transitions (including budgets) and on requirements and consequences of the transition project against the original business case,
  • Effectively support the GSS-CBS Global Transition Lead and members of his team in overall management of all allocated transition work, developing appropriate reports for communicating to various stakeholders (within/outside GSS-CBS).
 
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Consider, escalate and resolve issues which arise as part of planning and executing transitions including, but not limited to IT requirements, training and skills or knowledge transfer, cost of transition, local country change management issues, risk management, etc.,
  • Contribute to the design and the development of transition methodology, supporting tools and processes. This is includes determining the appropriate program structure for each transition,
  • As required, work closely with Global, EY Global Services and other GSS resources, to support the delivery of transition projects and meet the GSS center objectives and policies. 
  
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:                                                   
  • An ability to manage workload, with minimal direction, a self starter with a strong sense of initiative,
  • Proven expertise in process re-design or re-engineering,
  • A proven ability to work within a global perspective, to work virtually within global established norms, and can understand and implement global strategies across multiple locations,
  • Strong project and program management skills,
  • Strong proven client management skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence stakeholders from,
  • Various disciplines and a different levels of seniority across the organization,
  • Proven report writing skills - both verbal and written communication,
  • Strong presentation skills,
  • Financially literate with good analytical and problem solving skills,
  • The ability to handle ambiguity and operate in a self-directed manner,
  • Strong interpersonal skills including evidence to show can act as a strong team player working with all levels of the organization,
  • A proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively,
  • A strong understanding of corporate financial and HR systems, and an ability to work with other,
  • Internal functional teams (IT, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Legal, etc).

Supervision Responsibilities:

This role has no direct reports, but would be expected to lead others in project teams (both virtual and face to face).


Other Requirements: 

The successful candidate must be able to travel overseas as required. The amount of time spent travelling overseas will vary based on the needs of the GSS Center and other Global GSS-CBS Transitions priorities.


Education: 
  • A graduate with a relevant degree from finance, business or commerce,
  • An advanced degree, such as an MBA.

Experience:
  • Approximately 5 - 7 years demonstrable experience leading large, multi-country, diverse programs or projects,
  • The ability to demonstrate a global perspective,
  • Involved in designing and conducting training programs.

Certification Requirements:
  • Program management certification, such as PMI PMP,
  • Process expertise certification, such as Six Sigma.
