Microsoft Services in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) comprises of 23 sales locations; its headquarter office (HQ) is located in Munich/ Germany.

Job’s Purpose:

Microsoft Services CEE HQ is looking for a passionate individual with strong data management and reporting skills who wants to be part of Microsoft’s Central & Eastern European Services Headquarter team.
This position will support the Services Business Operations team at CEE HQ with superior data and reporting management of various types (financial data, sales data, consulting delivery results, KPI reporting, etc.) The role is primarily focused on pro-actively assessing and managing the continuous improvement of the Services data and reporting environment to ensure that business functions efficiently and effectively are able to make business decisions. In addition, this role will play a key role in data and report preparation for monthly business reviews, midyear reviews, budget planning phases and ad-hoc requests. The position will improve existing reports and develop them to the next generation, will build new databases and reports, and use analytical skills to excel different views on the business.

Responsibilities:

Keep an inventory of existing tools, databases, reports and analysis
Help design and evolve end-to-end data mining solutions
Work with business owners to map business requirements into database solutions
Manage data and produce smart reporting; ensuring the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of data/reports
Understand business needs and enable decision makers to manage their business by providing accurate and timely views on the business
Manage reporting capabilities out of various tools and formats
Identify areas of improvement and pro-actively drive these forward to increase overall effectiveness of Services
Perform regular audits on data inputs and outputs to monitor and improve data integrity
Drive focused data quality improvement activity at an Area level
Provide continuous feedback to pears on data excellence and performance
Timely execution on reporting

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years working experience in data management/reporting is of advantage
Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel and MS SQL Databases
Data reporting and report implementation, including data analysis
Must be fluent in English
