The Information Management Software Sales Representative (IM Sales) is responsible for developing Brand/product specific solutions that address client's business needs and deliver client value while supporting brand specific business strategies. The IM Sales maintains strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of Business organizations in the target accounts. Thoroughly understands the client's business, including their organization, software development approaches, financials, and business issues. Creates solutions which are tailored to client's business needs and integrates the brand capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition. Maintains an understanding of the client's industry and how the client's software business fits within it. Is aware of IBM's methods and models used in the solution and can articulate their value to the client. Ensures that the solution design and delivery team has considered the appropriate methods and models in the customer solution.
The IM Sales is responsible for driving sales on Information Management software within a designated System z (Mainframe) client base in the Benelux. In this role, it is essential to be able to apply specific knowledge and experience to bring new IM business and commercial insights to assigned System z clients.

• Bachelor or Master Degree
 
• At least 5 years experience in Software Sales
 
• Dutch: Fluent
• English: Fluent
• Excellent written and oral communication
 
• Excellent presentation skills
• Operate as team member, acting with technical professionals to define right prospect approach
• Excellent troubleshooting, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Some basic knowledge of IBM System z is mandatory but an important part of this role is persuading Mainframe Customers to consider the z/Enterprise Platform for all applications and workloads that require Enterprise Class Availability, Security, Scalability, Recoverability and Economics.
• Proactively utilize Worldwide and Local Executive and Management resources to achieve the business objectives.
• Collaborate with all the other IBM Brands where appropriate.
Required
