IBM Software Group is

making the most of current resources and controlling costs. We are now
looking for a motivated sales person interested in selling solutions for
mobile deployments, process improvement and integration projects.
Key responsibilities: · Creative prospecting through campaigns, business partners, and other activities to identify new clients · Provide sales leadership and progress sales opportunities to closure · Work with other sales people, business partners, and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client · Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry · Collaborate with the channel organization to develop partners and their solutions to shorten sales cycles by selling to the LoBs · Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue quotas Key attributes for the role: · An outstanding ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution based on software technology · Maintain understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes · Understanding of competitive technologies and their market place · Ability/Experience to front end deals on the technical as well as commercial front. · Excellent communication, listening, client handling skills. Valued experience and abilities · At least 3 years experience in understanding of competitive AIM-Websphere technologies and their place in the market · At least 3 years proven sales track record · Ability to provide insight to business leaders in at least one of these industries: [Financial Services / Insurance, Public Sector, E&U or Oil and Gas] · Strong territory planning and territory management skill |
