As a Senior Microsoft SharePoint Architect you will be part of IBM’s Danish Microsoft Competence Center in Global Business Services (GBS) Application Management Services (AMS). The Senior Microsoft SharePoint Architect is responsible for providing solutions for Microsoft SharePoint projects and proposals. Moreover, the Senior Microsoft SharePoint Architect will also work as a consultant in projects. In the role as a Senior Microsoft SharePoint Architect you will work closely with our customers to create internal and external collaboration websites in SharePoint 2007 and 2010, including defining the hardware and software requirements, setting up the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) environment and leading the development team. This position will require a strong knowledge of the .NET Framework and SharePoint development, and the ability to mentor others in SharePoint development and implementation techniques. Skills: • 5+ years .NET development and SharePoint architecture experience • The ability to work with a customer and the account team to define business requirements • Strong understanding of SharePoint products (MOSS 2007 and 2010) with the ability to make presentations about all functions, feathers, and capabilities that they offer • Experience with: SharePoint 2007 and 2010, .NET Development, and SQL servers • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD): SharePoint Developer; Microsoft Certified Master (MCM): Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Preferred The Danish Microsoft Competence Center offers consultancy services to Nordic clients using classic Microsoft products as well as Microsoft Business Solutions. The Microsoft Competence Center has more than 30 consultants. Our consultants have broad competences and typically work as IT Specialists, Solution Architects, and Project Managers. The Microsoft Competence Center has experience with MS technologies such as .NET, Biztalk, and SharePoint. A new business area involving Microsoft's ERP application Dynamics AX is now a part of the Microsoft Competence Center as well.
