Role Summary/Purpose
The Global Key Account Manager Inspection Technologies, will develop the strategy and will partner with our global regions to facilitate and assist with expanding innovative and emerging inspection technologies to meet key account needs, develop a partnership vision and support M&C product lines through coordination of sales, technology collaboration & support with various cross functional teams on a global, multi-national & -divisional basis.
Essential Responsibilities Serves as a commercial leader and Inspection Subject Matter Commercial Expert (CSME)
between the regions and O&G clients with a specific interest on global key accounts. This role will perform short and long-range planning; organizing and controlling sales growth, account penetration, and customer satisfaction for long-term results. The position will work closely with the M&C Oil Strategic Relationship Management Team and the M&C Global Projects Team to identify the best path/method to position Inspection Technologies.
In addition to driving continued growth of the present product lines, key to the role will be to assist the development and execution of the strategy to entry/creation of a global market for inspection technologies in the upstream and downstream oil and gas segment.
The Global Key Account Manager - O&G Vertical responsibilities will include:
Assist regional teams with closing strategic opportunities if needed.
Lead negotiations on global agreements with selected accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements
Demonstrated ability to work directly with a globally dispersed team of sales managers;
Demonstrated success in exceeding Orders and Revenue targets and managing multiple
customer success metrics;
Ideally minimum of 10 years working in the Inspection Industry;
Possess detailed knowledge of Insp. Tech markets and assigned strategic accounts'
relationships and philosophies with their industry standards;
Extensive knowledge of Insp. Tech P&L’s with specific interest to applications to oil and gas;
Leadership and Team building domain expertise;
Experienced Negotiating Skills;
Advanced sales skills including; communication, senior level presentations and writing;
Desired Characteristics
Over 5 years Oil and Gas experience with a background in O&G Processes including refining and offshore;
Comprehensive understanding of the M&C structure and product offerings with specific interest to oil and gas;
Level III Inspection Certifications B.S. in Engineering/Business;
Comprehensive understanding of the GE corporate structure and product offerings;
Negotiating Skills;
Advanced sales skills including; communication, senior level presentations and writing; Management competency; organization and leadership;
