Reporting
to the VP BD/Sales EMEA and APJ, the Senior Account Manager will be
leading XtremIO’s business development and sales in Sweden. The role
encompasses development of customer base, channel partnerships and
closely collaborating with EMC business and sales teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable professional with proven history of success in building large scale business, winning early customers and creating successful partnerships. As a member of XtremIO’s BD/Sales team, you will play a key role in formulating and executing the company’s growth and value-creation strategies. Position will be tasked with identifying partnership opportunities, engaging targets, negotiating and closing commercial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire beta/trial customers in key verticals and market segments
- Identify business opportunities and act upon them to achieve early customer wins
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, leading the process from early engagement through commercial agreements and ongoing business relationship management
- Closely collaborate with EMC’s Sales force to strategize and execute desired “Go To Market” plan
- Build, scale, and maintain a pipeline of customer and business prospects
- Communicate the significant value proposition of the company’s solutions, articulate the value of XtremIO’s product and differentiate it in the marketplace
- Work closely with Marketing and Product groups to help develop and prioritize product and marketing initiatives in accordance with business opportunities in the relevant region
- Incorporate knowledge of our product, key competitors, the value proposition, ROI into the sales process and leverage the knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value based solutions
- Represent the company at appropriate conferences, trade shows and other events
Critical Hiring Criteria
- Proven experience and knowledge of the Enterprise Storage space – must
- Background in working both for large corporations as well as small and fast growing companies
- Proven ability to identify, develop and qualify a pipeline of sound business opportunities resulting in concrete business value, revenue, and profitability
- Minimum 8 years of equivalent experience in Sales positions in the IT infrastructure arena.
- Demonstrated success cultivating, maintaining, and leveraging customer relationships over the full sales cycle.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the enterprise IT market, including a rolodex of contacts, is required
- Experience in the Storage Flash market, VDI space, virtualization platforms and VDI solutions including VMware, Citrix and Microsoft – highly desired
- Successful experience in introducing and selling new, disruptive technologies and solutions into the Nordic IT market
- Self-motivated leader, highly energetic, with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Engineering degree and background– highly desired
- Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
- Fluent in English and Swedish
